05/05/17 Guarantee, Warranty, and Guaranty
This is something many people usually ask me about: the difference, if any, between guarantee, warranty, and guaranty.
So, here’s a very short summary to help you distinguish them:
Guarantee looks to the future, as assurance that something will or will not be done.
Warranty looks to the present and past, by accepting legal responsibility that things are as they were represented.
Guaranty is mostly used as a noun, and is interchangeable with guarantee.
