Said to somebody who is not paying attention to what is happening because they are sleepy or nor attentive.
Examples:
- Ester! Are you listening to me at all? Hello? Wakey-wakey!
- Hey! Wakey-wakey! Start paying attention in class, please.
- Martin, your turn. Martin! Are you with us? Wakey-wakey Martin!
- Today’s Tuesday, not Friday. Wakey-wakey Maria!
